Keystone State Tech Sector Continues to Thrive
Another successful CentralPA Innovate! is in the books. The 5th annual event, put on by the invaluable Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania, took place on Wednesday, June 11th, at the Willman Business Center of York College.
As a Networking Sponsor we were in a position to have a lot of conversations at the event. Here are our key takeaways:
AI, AI, Everywhere: Everyone is looking to get ahead with AI. Or at least to not fall behind. The same competitive advantage that existed 20 years ago by having the website with the best usability, or 10 years ago with the fastest website, is now available to those who master AI. It is a key part of our company’s future as well, as Direct LTx has AI-ready colocation opportunities available in our Reading data center.
Central Sophistication: Central Pennsylvania is not a business environment composed of sleepy little hamlets. In reality it is a tech tiger. Good luck finding another area of communities the size of Harrisburg, York, and their surroundings with a more vibrant, active, innovative tech scene. It is a region of AI adoption, hybrid infrastructure solutions, innovative startups, and business energy.
Solution & Sector Variety: Both startups and enterprises in Central Pennsylvania are offering a wide range of IT-related products and solutions across the many industries that make up the economy in our region. We saw diversity, not industry or sector specificity.
Those three observations were far from the only highlights from this valuable event for IT-driven business communities in the Commonwealth. Kudos to the Tech Council for another excellent CentralPA Innovate!
We’ll see you at next year’s edition!
